The 7th Annual Louisiana International Film Festival is coming to Baton Rouge April 4-7 2019, and we’re looking for your movies! The festival welcomes all submissions. This year LIFF will focus on the following concentrations; Southern Perspective stories with particular emphasis on films shot in Louisiana and/or by Louisiana filmmakers, Horror, submissions from all genres of horror accepted, Narrative and Documentary films showcasing the effects of Climate Change, Women Directed and Produced projects in all categories, Episodic content and Virtual Reality projects.

Submissions will be accepted in the following categories:

  • DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILMS

  • INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILMS

  • LOUISIANA NARRATIVE FEATURE FILMS

  • LOUISIANA DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILMS

  • SHORT FILMS (less than 50 min.)

  • HORROR SHORT FILMS  (less than 50 min.)

  • INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS  (less than 50 min.)

  • LOUISIANA SHORT FILMS  (less than 50 min.)

  • MATURE ANIMATED SHORT FILMS  (less than 50 min.)

  • FAMILY ANIMATED SHORT FILMS  (less than 50 min.)

  • EPISODIC CONTENT

  • VIRTUAL REALITY PROJECTS

2019 marks the 3rd Annual Dan Ireland Award competition, named for filmmaker and founding LIFF artistic director Dan Ireland, who passed away suddenly in 2016. The winner will receive a $3,000 cash award. In addition, LIFF FEST 2019 will include an inaugural award, Best Film Directed by a Woman Director.
